Last Saturday, Zachary and I went to the Frammuseet, a museum on the penninsula next to our apartment that houses an entire polar exploration ship, Fram. Several different famous Norwegian explorers led expeditions to the arctic and then to the South Pole over the course of the years from 1893 to 1912.
Zachary and I got to see lots of artifacts and various stuffed arctic animals.
Then we explored the old ship itself, first the bottom then the deck and then the interior, seeing bedrooms, a kitchen, and even a parlor with a piano and a phonograph.
