A very sweet co-worker of Kelly's named Camilla offered to have lunch with Zach and me today and show us a little of Oslo. Not only did we have a great time eating and chatting, we got to compare notes on our countries and she proved to have a wealth of information about Oslo. Thanks to her we now have some fabulous ideas on kid-friendly events for Zach that I'm sure he'll enjoy.
Camilla was also able to give me the low down on the different parts of town, where to buy cheaper groceries (apparently I've been shopping regularly at a kind of high-end store--oops!), where to find bargains on clothes...all sorts of great info! We are lucky to have met such a helpful friend.
